Objectives

Raise service quality across the Saudi hotel sector.

Transfer operational best practices between global and local properties.

Develop Saudi hospitality talent and broaden career opportunities.

Strengthen readiness for Hajj, Umrah, and seasonal tourism peaks.

The initiative

An initiative launched by the Ministry of Tourism as part of its national hospitality talent development efforts — the Ministry provides strategic oversight, funds the programme's stipends, and facilitates travel and training requirements.

How it works

Every trainee moves through seven stages, from nomination to programme completion.

Employer hotels propose candidates based on their training needs.

2

MoT approval

The Ministry of Tourism reviews and approves or rejects each nomination.

3

Profile & documents

Trainees complete their profile and upload required documents via the platform.

4

Visa

The programme facilitates visas and pre-travel paperwork.

5

Travel

Outbound and return travel are recorded; approved stipends are disbursed.

6

International training

Trainees spend one to two months at a same-brand international hotel.

7

Assessment & closing

The on-site supervisor evaluates the trainee; an impact report and certificate are issued.
